Qualification(s):

B Cur Degree plus Postgraduate Diploma in Occupational Health or National Diploma in Nursing plus B Tech in Occupational Health at NQF7 with 360 credits

Key Responsibilities

1. Implement an occupational health surveillance programme in the business unit (BU)/division/health centre according to the occupational risk exposure profile (OREP).
2. Prepare and co-ordinate cases for proposed medical boarding, incapacity, sick leave management, disability, and assessments in consultation with the Eskom occupational health medical practitioner (OHMP).
3. Monitor and refer acute and chronic cases to the relevant health and wellness function inside or outside of Eskom.
4. Provide an advisory, consultative and specialist function to all stakeholders.
5. Capture and record data of all activities on systems, applications, and products (SAP) environmental, health and safety (EHS).
