Requirements :
Grade 12 plus Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 7) in Public/Business Management/ Administration/ Office Administration or relevant qualification as recognized by SAQA. 3 – 5 year’s experience at supervisory level. A valid driver’s license. COMPETENCES: Knowledge of Departmental policies and procedures, Reporting procedures and Government Priorities. Skills: Planning and organizing, Problem solving, Negotiation and Decision making.
Duties :
Provide EIA Online System, SmartGov and SharePoint support. Monitor and administer registers for EIA related applications, Land use and NEMA queries as well as applications submitted in terms of the Gauteng Provincial Environmental Management Framework (GPEMF). Monitor and ensure effective safe keeping of Environmental authorizations and any other comments issued as required by legislation. Provide and administer environmental management related logistics and support. Engage with stakeholders, applicants, EAPs and Interested and affected parties. Provide status of applications to clients and respond to queries received from Interested and affected parties. Manage resources (Human, Financial, Equipment/Assets).
